Lefkada is located in western Greece, in the central Ionian Sea. It is 350 km away (3 h 40 min) from Athens via Olympia (A8) and Ionia (A5) Motorways and the Rio-Antirrio bridge and 370 km away (less than 4 hours) from Thessaloniki via Egnatia Motorway (A2). Access from mainland Greece to the island is provided by a toll-free floating bridge. Aktion Airport (PVK) is 20 km away from the town of Lefkada.
